James Ellsworth and Words Worth Writing Services

I started Words Worth Writing Services as a vehicle to develop writing skills and professionalism. My first writing contracts were in Ontario and had an educational focus:
-
informational packages for Grand River tour guides,
-
curriculum for the Ontario Ministry of Education in History, Native Studies and World Religions, including the independent learning department of TVO,
-
reviews of History and Philosophy texts for McGraw Hill Publishing,
-
author of the chapter, Aboriginal Spirituality, in the best-selling text, Exploring World Religions (Oxford University Press, 2001),
-
a week long session at the Banff Centre for the Arts, focused on memoir
I also started writing feature articles for a fledgling news web site, Cambridge Now, covering history, sports like the 2006 Canadian Open, and travel pieces.
We moved to Victoria, BC in 2007.
While in Victoria, I have written a historical retrospective for the BC Pharmacy Association, articles for the Saanich Peninsula Hospital newsletter, features for Inspired Senior Living magazine, and an historical novel.
